Our childminding setting is a home from home environment, offering a variety of excellent indoor and outdoor facilities and an abundance of learning opportunities.

We use the home as a base to offer a safe, secure and stimulating environment for the children to thrive from.  We have a conservatory which is used for `wet day` play activities when the children need some time out to relax or  for group activities.

The majority of the children’s learning is through our play based provision of the natural environment and surroundings .We are passionate and committed to providing children with a challenging curriculum that is designed around the outdoors, nature and physical play.  Our vision is for children to believe in themselves and to develop the resilience and confidence to tackle any challenges with determination and persistence. Younger children develop strength and coordination as they toddle around the well-designed garden where much of our learning takes place.  We have a range of resources and areas in the garden which offer a high-quality learning experience for children and sustain their interest.  These include sensory trays, a mud kitchen, climbing frame, hammocks and much more.  We also go out and about exploring our Local Environment often visiting Etherow Country Park, Brabyns Park.
We have a purpose built cosy log cabin situated in the large garden area which provides the children with opportunities to learn and develop other areas of learning. The children can enjoy quiet time in our relaxing reading corner and play with resources to promote our early years curriculum.

All our staff are experienced, highly qualified, trained in safeguarding, first aid qualified and hold DBS checks.
