We are very lucky to have two childcare settings which we feel both settings gives every child the best possible start in life that supports them and enables them to fulfil their potential.

Our pre-school is based in a safe and secure cosy log cabin with a private outdoor area. We are situated within the magical grounds of The Garden House Lakes Road Marple which is a small farm environment. The farm is open to the public and the pre-school has full access to all its amenities.

Our childminding setting is a home from home environment, we have a big garden with lots of wooden equipment, hammocks, family pets along with a log cabin. We are close by to Etherow Country Park which allows us to explore our local community & wild life.

In both of our settings, we cover all areas of learning using our natural environment and surroundings through play based. The children have daily opportunities to experience the natural world and all its wonder on a daily basis which is unique and educational. Personal social and emotional development is highly positive. There is an abundance of learning outdoors which includes: risk-taking, fantastic support for imaginative play and many ways that children can develop key physical skills. We have a huge focus on Forest school activities where our children learn to collaborate and support one another.

Our children enjoy the outdoors which is essential to their well-being. They take risks, show imagination and solve problems on their own or with others. We also enjoy and learn in a true community where everyone is included.

We strongly believe in both of our settings that children learn best through play at this age – Through play, children develop language skills, their emotions and creativity, social and intellectual skills. They take risks, show imagination and solve problems on their own or with others.

All of our staff are experienced, Highly Qualified, Trained in safe Guarding, First Aid and hold DBS checks.
